mm888 –
I only found two things that i did not like about this load. 1 excessive muzzle flash when fired in low-light/ no-light areas. 2 excessive recoil when compared to similar loads (federal hst and winchester ranger bonded). this is why my current carry load in wichester ranger bonded 180 grain.

Those familiar with the Gold Dot LE 165 grain JHP Round know that it is an excellent choice for self defense. My personal preference is that I wish it was about 50 fps hotter MV. Overall it is designed & manufactured to do the job.
